The Beatlemaniac might be the easiest category of father to shop for. Nearly 60 years since the band’s peak, there’s no shortage of new photo books, biographies and collectible merch to celebrate the Fab Four. Plus, Paul McCartney just released a a new album, “The Boys of Dungeon Lane,” now available in a special-edition vinyl that makes the perfect gift.

For those more interested in the band’s lore than new music, there’s a plethora of books tracking the band’s iconic journey, from their humble Liverpool beginnings to their incredible rise to Beatlemania fame to their acrimonious breakup in 1970. One upcoming release, Erika White’s “Meat the Beatles: The Butcher Cover,” unpacks the story behind the infamous 1966 “Yesterday and Today” album cover, which featured John, Paul, George and Ringo in butcher coats, surrounded by raw meat and dismembered dolls. It doesn’t ship out until November but if you pre-order it now you’ll thank yourself for thinking ahead once the holidays roll around.
