Interpol to Release New Album "This Mirror Weighs A Ton" August 28, Share Two New Singles

Interpol have announced their eighth album, This Mirror Weighs a Ton , which will be out August 28 via Partisan. It’s their first for the label after 20+ years on Matador and their first since 2022’s The Other Side of Make-Believe . The album was produced by Andrew Wyatt (Charli XCX, Miike Snow), and mixed by David Fridmann (Flaming Lips).

There are two songs from This Mirror Weighs a Ton that you can listen to now: the dreamy title track which incorporates atmospheric sound design elements, and “See Out Loud” which is a more traditional Interpop rock song but does features dueling lead vocals from Paul Banks and guitarist Daniel Kessler.

Interpol are on tour this summer including headline shows with openers including Youth Lagoon, DIIV, julie and more, dates supporting SOMBR , and festival appearances like NYC’s CBGB Fest on September 26 . All dates are listed below.
