Tottenham Avoids Relegation on Final Day, West Ham Drops from Premier League
Tottenham Hotspur secured their Premier League status on the final day of the 2025-26 season, while West Ham faced relegation from the league.

Tottenham have avoided relegation from the Premier League on the final day of the 2025-26 season.
A 1-0 victory at home to Everton on Sunday ensured their survival. Tottenham knew they could only be relegated if they lost, and if West Ham beat Leeds. Although West Ham won 3-0, João Palhinha 's 42nd minute winner for Tottenham meant they were in the driving seat throughout the last matchday.
The north London club have been at-risk of a high-profile relegation from the top flight for much of their dreadful campaign.
Thomas Frank began the season in charge before he was sacked and replaced by Igor Tudor, whose ill-fated and short stint did not deliver a turnaround in results.
But Roberto De Zerbi has now done enough to confirm Tottenham's Premier League status for next year, at the expense of West Ham who will be relegated to the Championship.
