Leading the production as Joseph is acclaimed singer-songwriter, Broadway performer, and viral vocal sensation Brian Justin Crum . Known for his powerhouse vocals and emotional storytelling, Crum first captured international attention on NBC-TV's America's Got Talent with his unforgettable rendition of Radiohead's “Creep,” which has amassed more than 100 million views online. A Broadway veteran since the age of 17, Crum has appeared in productions including Wicked, Next to Normal, and We Will Rock You.

“I played Joseph when I was 17 years old and I remember feeling like it was the role that really helped me find my voice,” shared Crum. “It solidified my love of musical theatre and led me to a career on Broadway! I'm thrilled to be stepping back into this role and such a prestigious theatre!”

MTW's production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will put a fresh contemporary spin on the globally beloved musical, weaving in modern pop culture influences, updated creative touches, and references designed to resonate with today's audiences while preserving the timeless heart and energy of the show.

A dazzling celebration of hope, resilience, and the power of dreams, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a beloved musical that follows Joseph's extraordinary journey from betrayal to triumph. Based on the Biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers, and his iconic multicolored coat, the high-energy production features unforgettable musical theatre hit favorites. Audiences can expect a vibrant, heartwarming theatrical experience exploring how dreams can shape destinies, inspire others, and reveal the true potential within us all.

With a runtime of 2 hours and 10 minutes, including one 15-minute intermission, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is rated G.
