Grab your backpacks: it's time to go back to school! Hulu has debuted the trailer for the new comedy film Never Change! featuring 2026 Tony nominee Ana Gasteyer as a high school principal facing a bizarre crisis.

The movie follows a group of former North Meadows High School students, who had their senior year cut short due to a disastrous tornado back in 2008. Now, in their mid-30s, they're being forced to return home and finish high school once and for all, with extracurricular activities to boot.

In addition to Gasteyer, the movie stars John Reynolds, Sofia Black-D’Elia, Carmen Christopher, Jo Firestone, and Gary Richardson. The additional cast includes Rudy Pankow, Topher Grace, Jackie Cruz, Patti Harrison, Zach Cherry, and Maria Thayer.

Never Change! will have its world premiere debut at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 9, 2026, before making its streaming premiere June 17, 2026, on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the U.S., and on Disney+ internationally.

The movie is directed by Marty Schousboe and written by John Reynolds. The film is produced by Nicholas Hatton and Jason Woliner for Swindle, Jon Watts for Freshman Year, Jeremy Garelick and Will Phelps for American High, Billy Rosenberg for All Things Comedy, and Jason Zaro. Molle DeBartolo serves as executive producer, Axelle Azoulay as co-producer, and Matt Sacca as associate producer.

Gasteyer is currently playing the role of Mildred Layton in the Broadway production of Schmigadoon!, earning a Tony nomination for her performance. Previous Broadway credits include Once Upon A Mattress, The Royal Family, Wicked, The Threepenny Opera, and Rocky Horror.
