Nine-time GRAMMY Award-winning artist Anderson .Paak will release his star-studded K-POPS! (Music from and inspired by K-POPS! Motion Picture). The 17-song album contains music from and inspired by .Paak’s feature film directorial debut, K-POPS!, which comes to Netflix on May 30.

The soundtrack arrives on May 29, and features an array of K-pop and South Korean, including JID, G-DRAGON, aespa, LNGSHOT, NMIXX, DEAN, and Kevin Woo (Kpop Demon Hunters’ Mystery Saja), plus JOSHUA of SEVENTEEN, HONGJOONG of ATEEZ, and SOYEON of i-dle. .Paak also appears throughout, and his son Soul Rasheed makes his musical debut.
Last week, .Paak released his single “Aftertaste” featuring Seoul alt-R&B artist DEAN. In February, he and superstar girl group aespa teamed up for “Keychain.” Both tracks were produced by Dem Jointz (Jennie, Eminem), who is the executive producer across K-POPS! (Music from and inspired by K-POPS! Motion Picture), with additional production from .Paak and others.
The project will also include a new version of .Paak and G-DRAGON’s 2025 single “Too Bad,” which hit #30 on Billboard’s Global 200 chart and won a MAMA Award at the Asian equivalent of the GRAMMY Awards.
Set against the backdrop of a fictional, Seoul-based K-pop competition show, K-POPS! explores generational connection and cultural exchange through music, following a father and son whose paths collide in unexpected ways. .Paak wrote and directed the movie, and also stars alongside his real-life son Soul Rasheed. The movie debuted in AMC Theatres in February.
