The play opens ninety minutes into Oliver's housewarming party. Oliver, new to the city, is doing his best not to panic as he downs cosmo after cosmo-no one, except for the hired bartender, has shown up to his party yet. Soon, his neighbor, Alex (played by Boszhardt), expecting a full party and planning to leave after a few minutes, shows up and is horrified to discover that he is the only guest there. Awkwardness, hilarity, and an unlikely friendship ensue.

Boszhardt added, "I love New York more than anywhere in the world. Despite being surrounded by eight million people I, nonetheless, like most New Yorkers, have felt quite lonely at times. It's also been my experience that New Yorkers, despite having a reputation for being sharp-elbowed, will go out of their way to help someone in need. These are the feelings and beliefs I wanted to tap into with this play."

Joshua Hinck * (Ezra, Losing My Mind: A Sondheim Disco Fever Dream) stars alongside Boszhardt as Oliver. Rounding out the cast are Steven Sarao* (The Boys from Kingsbridge, Law and Order) and Skyler James Bailey (Only Murders in the Building, Law and Order).

Performance dates are: 6/18 at 7PM, 6/19 at 7PM, 6/20 at 7PM, and 6/21 at 3PM. The play will be presented in a block of other short plays and will be an Equity Approved Showcase (*Hinck and Sarao are members of Actors Equity).

Built in 1907, The Players Theatre is a historic Off-Broadway theater in Greenwich Village (115 MacDougal Street). The performances will take place in the Steve and Marie Sgouros Theatre.
