This partnership between two of New Hampshire's great arts organizations is something both institutions hold very dear. When the Barn Playhouse and Symphony NH share a stage, the result is something neither organization could achieve alone, and this community has responded with extraordinary warmth.

Under the leadership of New London Barn Playhouse Executive Artistic Director Keith Coughlin and Managing Director Elliott Cunningham , and Symphony NH Executive Director Deanna Hoying, this third collaboration represents a deepening of a relationship built on shared artistic ambition and a mutual commitment to bringing world-class live performance to the people of New Hampshire.

Man of La Mancha, In Concert features a streamlined story and reduced dialogue while retaining all the unforgettable songs from Mitch Leigh and Joe Darion 's inspiring score. Framed by the imaginative storytelling of Don Quixote, the adaptation is perfect for contemporary audiences of all ages.

Featuring a soaring score that includes "The Impossible Dream," "Dulcinea," "I, Don Quixote," and the rousing "Man of La Mancha (I, Don Quixote)," this timeless tale of hope, courage, and the power of dreaming impossible dreams promises to uplift and inspire.

Leading the company as Quixote/Cervantes is Broadway's Ben Davis , whom many will remember as Emile in Symphony NH's production of South Pacific two seasons ago. His voice, his presence, and his warmth on stage make him perfectly suited to the role.

Making her New London Barn Playhouse debut as Dulcinea/Aldonza is Shereen Pimentel , who originated the role of Maria in the most recent Broadway revival of West Side Story and brought Eva Peron to life in Evita at the American Repertory Theater in Boston.

A singular talent, Pimentel joins a glorious company, many with Broadway credits to their names, supported by the full Symphony NH orchestra.

Returning Barn favorites include Scott Cote as Sancho, Dawn Tucker as Maria, Maria Nalieth as Antonia, Dan Teixeira as Anselmo, Sheldon Mba as Padre, Matt Gibson as Dr. Carrasco, and Scott Sweat as Inn Keeper/Governor.

The production is conducted by Maestro Mike Stapleton, with Kevin David Thomas returning as Staging and Music Director. Jonathan Parks serves as Associate Director, with Sound Design by Daisy McMahon and Stage Management by Lily E. Vetter.

Man of La Mancha, In Concert plays four performances only, May 29-31, at the New London Barn Playhouse, 84 Main Street, New London, NH.
