Best Songs to Celebrate the 2026 World Cup

Music and sports have always gone hand-in-hand, and soccer is no exception.

With the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaching a week from today, a number of songs have seen the light celebration of the over month-long tournament.

Soundtracking this year’s World Cup is “Dai Dai,” the official FIFA anthem by Shakira and Burna Boy. The uplifting, reggaetón-tinged, afrobeats song forms part of the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album that includes 18 tracks — the most extensive music project created for a World Cup.

The set “features artists from across continents, languages and genres in a project designed to unite fans worldwide through the power of music and football,” FIFA president Gianni Fantino shared in a statement.

Moreover, former Brazilian soccer icon Ronaldinho launched the star-studded album Camisa 10 that includes songs by Sean Paul, Justin Quiles, Luis R. Conriquez, Lenny Tavárez and more, and navigates rhythms such as dancehall, música Mexicana, cuarteto and piseiro.

Artists such as J Balvin, LISA, Carlos Vives, Jelly Roll, Grupo Frontera and The Rolling Stones have also hopped on the soccer-themed songs bandwagon.

To further demonstrate how both worlds are universal, Billboard curated the ultimate World Cup songs list featuring an array of tracks released in honor of this year’s tournament.

For the first time in history, the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be held across three hosting countries: Canada, Mexico and the United States. Matches are expected to take place from June 11 to July 19 in 11 U.S. cities, three Mexican cities and two Canadian cities, with the final match taking place at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
