Black Bananas to Release First Album in 12 Years, "Bad Bunch"
The new album, titled "Bad Bunch," is Black Bananas' third and will be available later this year through Fire Records.

Black Bananas , the 2010s-era band led by Royal Trux co-founder Jennifer Herrema , are back and have signed with Fire Records. The band’s third album, and first in 12 years, is titled Bad Bunch and will be out later this year.
Fire Records says this marks a “broader long-term collaboration” which encompasses “new releases, archival projects, and future creative initiatives.” No other details have been shared yet. Stay tuned.
When Herrema and her Royal Trux partner Neil Hagerty separated after the release of 2000’s Pound for Pound , she began recording and performing under the name RTX before changing it to Black Bananas in the early 2010s. The group released Rad Times Xpress IV in 2012 and Electric Black Wall in 2012, then Royal Trux reunited for shows in 2015 and released new album White Stuff in 2019. The reunion didn’t last long after that; the White Stuff tour was canceled and that was that.
