During their "Southern Hospitality" tour stop at Tampa's MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre, the Black Crowes faced audience backlash, including boos and walkouts, following comments made after their song "Soul Singing."

On Sunday night, veteran Atlanta blues-rockers the Black Crowes played Tampa's MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre as part of their Southern Hospitality tour. (The previous night, Kid Rock played the same venue.) After the Black Crowes played their song "Soul Singing," their crow logo, also seen on frontman Chris Robinson's shirt, appeared onscreen, dressed as Uncle Sam. In the crowd, people started chanting, "USA! USA!"
