Black Myth: Wukong Soundtrack Tour Confirmed for 2026

The team behind Black Myth: Wukong has confirmed details of a 2026 global tour to celebrate the game’s incredible soundtrack.

Single-player action-adventure game Black Myth: Wukong launched back in 2024. The game was inspired by the classic Chinese novel ‘Journey To The West’ and sees players take on the role of The Destined One as he tries to restore Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, to his former glory by collecting six ancient relics.

The action-role-playing game sold more than 14million units in its first week of release and a sequel Black Myth: Zhong Kui was confirmed in August . Now publishers Game Science have confirmed details of a global concert tour.

Tickets for a majority of shows (Hangzhou, Shanghai, Changsha, Guangzhou, Beijing, Chengdu, New York and Los Angeles) are available now, with the remaining shows set to go on sale in the near future.

“In collaboration with world-class musical ensembles and premier venues worldwide, Black Myth: Wukong will deliver a professional and breathtaking concert experience for all Destined Ones,” reads a press release from Game Science. “A highlight of this global tour is the integration of traditional Chinese folk music with symphonic orchestration. In collaboration with seasoned musicians from various regions, Game Science will deliver an immersive ‘East-meets-West’ musical experience.” Organisers have also promised “original vocalists for multiple in-game songs will join the tour.”

Game Science haven’t shared a release date for Black Myth: Zhong Kui but they have confirmed the sequel will be another “single-player action role-playing game rooted in ancient Chinese fantasy.” The game will take inspiration from classic Chinese folktale ‘Zhong Kui Banishing Evil’.

In other news, the second season of Netflix’s Devil May Cry  adaptation is out this month (May 12) and the soundtrack will feature ‘00s alt-rock classics from  Avril Lavigne ,  Korn  and more.
