The program will feature four repertory works from the company’s history alongside the world premiere of MURMUR by William Moore , resident choreographer at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre.

Reflecting on the season, Bruning said the lineup represents different chapters of her artistic career and the collaborative values that have shaped the company since its founding in New York in 2000.

The season includes CHANT, choreographed by Bruning and Andile Ndlovu, set to live Gregorian chant performed by a choir led by conductor Scott Tucker . The work combines live vocal performance with dance and lighting design in an immersive staging.

Also on the program is RAMBLIN' SUITE, commissioned by Atlanta Ballet and choreographed by Bruning. The ballet is performed to music by The Red Clay Ramblers .

The company will also revive BOOK OF STONES, choreographed by Christian Denice , featuring original music by Jack Herrick and Bland Simpson of The Red Clay Ramblers , with vocals by Skyler Herrick.

Bruning’s duet BERCEUSE, first presented in 1994, will return as part of the season, offering what the company describes as a quieter, intimate counterpoint within the evening’s repertory.

The engagement will conclude with the company’s annual Summer Solstice Party following the final performance.

As Chamber Dance Project prepares for its next chapter, the organization also announced it has reopened its search for a new artistic director. In the interim, longtime collaborators Patric Palkens, Sona Kharatian, and Sally McLain will help guide the company alongside its board and administrative leadership. Bruning will remain involved as an artistic advisor.

Additional season events include a June Open Rehearsal on June 12 at BalletNova Center for Dance, an Artist Talk on June 24 at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, and an on-stage workshop following the June 27 matinee performance.

The company also held its Red & Black Gala earlier this spring at Washington Golf and Country Club.
