Corrib Theatre has announced its 2026-2027 season, a bold exploration of storytelling across cultures, identities, and sensory experience. This year's programming expands Corrib's commitment to Irish theatre by placing it in conversation with global traditions, immigrant perspectives, and new approaches to how stories are experienced.

Following last year's sold-out debut celebrating Imbolc, An Scéal will return this fall, this time centering Samhain in dialogue with Día de Muertos, via collaboration with Latine artists to share Irish and Latin American traditions through music and storytelling.

In winter, Corrib will present The West Coast Premiere of The Perfect Immigrant by Samuel Yakura, directed by Bobby Bermea . This play follows a Nigerian immigrant in Dublin as he grapples with cultural change and an evolving relationship with his parents back home, featuring a live West African musician in Corrib's signature style.

In late spring, the theatre will produce Brian Friel 's Molly Sweeney, in which a blind woman is persuaded to undergo a procedure to attempt to restore her sight. A giant of Irish drama, Friel writes Molly Sweeney with his signature lyricism, haunting beauty, and warm humor. Corrib's groundbreaking production will be staged as a live soundscape that centers audio, accessibility, and collaboration with the Oregon Commission for the Blind, and will be developed with blind and low-vision actors, musicians, and foley artists.

In addition to its mainstage season, Corrib will continue its support of visiting Irish artists. In partnership with Northwest Children's Theatre, Corrib will present You'll See, an epic adaptation of James Joyce 's Ulysses for children , supported by Culture Ireland. Corrib Theatre will remain open to hosting touring plays from Ireland, as we have become the West Coast home for touring Irish plays, and look forward to seeing what we can bring to our audience in 2026-2027.

Subscriptions will go on sale soon for $85 for all three mainstage shows. Tickets for individual shows will have a tiered pricing scheme and will be available starting September 1, 2026. Corrib participates in Arts for All, Playwrights Welcome, and offers $15 tickets for students with ID at all performances. Subscriptions will soon be available through the Corrib Theatre website , or call 503-389-0579. Call or email info@corribtheatre.org for student or disability pricing!
