Broken Snow stars Tom Cavanagh , Tony Danza , and Michael Longfellow . The play is a tense psychological drama set inside an abandoned, snow-bound house, where two strangers—James, a volatile drifter, and Steven, a tightly controlled officer—discover they share a dark familial connection. As they dig through the remnants of their father's secret life, long-buried trauma resurfaces alongside a mysterious cigar box that may contain the truth they both crave. Standbys include Bob Ari. Jonathan Crimeni , F. Michael Haynie .

Thom Geier, Culture Sauce: Andron’s plot isn’t so much twisty as it is a tangled jumble of clichés, leading to a series of reveals that will leave you scratching your head not in surprise but in befuddlement. The program says the action takes place in the present day, but Danza doesn’t seem old enough to be a WWII survivor with a twentysomething son — let alone a morally compromised thug for reasons that strain credulity when he finally coughs them up, again in flashback. (Think Laurence Olivier in Marathon Man.)

Jerry Portwood, One-Minute Critic: Tony Danza—known for his roles on Taxi and Who’s the Boss?—is beloved for his charming, charismatic demeanor—a buddy who is quick to smile and hug it out. But in Ben Andron’s Broken Snow, an ill-conceived psychological drama now playing Off-Broadway, the 75-year-old Danza plays against type in a confusing play that stretches credulity.

Tom Storch, Front Row Center: Altogether, Broken Snow offers a competent production with solid performances and some memorable moments, but nothing revelatory.

Karen Snyder, The Knockturnal: Broken Snow delivers everything it promised. This thriller involves the audience in the secrets and traumas of the characters. Broken Snow is 85 minutes long with no intermission. The time is well spent as one is pulled into a well-crafted, superbly acted work.
