“Babygirl” writer/director Halina Reijn is continuing to expand the cast for her next film with A24 , this time adding a BAFTA winner into the mix.

David Jonsson , who won the BAFTA Rising Star award in 2025 for his breakout turns in “Rye Lane” and “Alien: Romulus,” has joined “Please,” which reunites Reijn with A24 for a third time.

Jonsson joins the already announced Gracie Abrams , the Grammy-nominee making her acting debut, plus “Heated Rivalry” star Connor Storrie and Jonsson’s fellow British actor Tom Burke.
