The Banana Bowl, the season championship featuring the baseball variation "Banana Ball," is coming to Disney+. The streamer is now the U.S. home for the championship, marking an expanded partnership with the Savannah Bananas team.

The Banana Bowl will stream live on Disney+ this October and will feature the top six teams in the Banana Ball league, including the Savannah Bananas, whose lineup includes Broadway's Derek Klena. This follows Savannah Bananas Day at Disneyland Resort, which took place in March. ESPN has also partnered with the Savannah Bananas for an exclusive 25-game package across ESPN and Disney+ to watch at home.

Later this month, Banana Ball will head to Walt Disney World Resort with a game at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, as well as a special stop at ESPN Headquarters on July 23. It was also recently announced that second baseman Jackson Olson will join Season 35 of “Dancing with the Stars” as a celebrity contestant.

The Savannah Bananas are a song-and-dance sports team that plays "Banana Ball", a fast and entertaining take on the game of baseball. The players perform choreographed dances every game, including songs from Taylor Swift , Mariah Carey , and more. Take a look at recent performances, including those featuring Tony-winner Ben Platt , Aladdin's Michael James Scott , and Broadway’s MJ, Matte Martinez .

Klena also recently performed "Waving Through A Window" from Dear Evan Hansen and the title song from "The Phantom of the Opera." Roku is streaming Savannah Bananas' games from the 2026 Banana Ball World Tour to audiences at home.

Every game includes the "3-2-2", which stands for third inning, second batter, second pitch. These are unique in-game pre-pitch dances that have combined together for over hundreds of millions of views on TikTok.

The team is also known for its iconic walk-ups, where Bananas may be escorted to the plate by your favorite music artists, make a dramatic entrance drenched in rain or recreating the latest TikTok dances. Additionally, the team has special scoring celebrations, which include running through the crowd to performing fully choreographed dances.
