Eleanna Fin (Finokalioti) will star as Sophia in Spirit of the Game: The Ultimate Musical, a new Off-Broadway production opening this May in New York. Running May 14-17, 2026 at Asylum NYC, the original musical is set in Crete, Greece and combines a pop-rock score with elements of traditional Greek music.

Written by Philip Vlahakis, the show follows Johnny Diskakis (Jaidyn Gonzalez-Richardson), a former high school football player whose life takes a turn when he moves back to Crete with his father and ends up joining the Greek National Mixed Ultimate Frisbee Team.

Directed and choreographed by Liz Piccoli , with musical direction by Julian Blackmore , the production moves between humor and drama, telling a story about second chances and personal growth.

Spirit of the Game: The Ultimate Musical was selected for the 2025 Florida Festival of New Musicals and has already drawn attention for its fresh concept and energetic score.
