Ella Langley’s "Choosin’ Texas" Tops TouchTunes’ Q1 Most-Played List
Ella Langley’s "Choosin’ Texas" was the most-played song on TouchTunes in Q1, rising to No. 1 on the Frontline Chart after previously debuting at No. 2.
Ella Langley ’s “Choosin’ Texas” was the most-played song on TouchTunes jukeboxes for the first quarter of 2026, leading to its coronation at No. 1 on the TouchTunes Frontline Chart’s first edition of the year.
The TouchTunes charts for the first quarter of 2026 track the most played songs and artists on TouchTunes jukeboxes from Jan. 1 to March 31, 2026, with the Frontline ranking inclusive of music released in the last 18 months, followed by the Catalog tally for any music that was released more than 18 months ago. The TouchTunes Artists Chart tracks the same period, combining an artist’s plays across both rankings. TouchTunes has jukeboxes in more than 60,000 locations worldwide. Its data is not factored into other Billboard charts.
“Choosin’ Texas” leads Frontline after debuting at No. 2 on the tally for 2025’s fourth quarter. That alone was a herculean feat given that the song premiered on Oct. 17, 2025, 17 days into that quarter’s tracking period.
By being the quarter’s most played song, it brings the title back to the Frontline chart; for the fourth quarter of 2026, the platform’s most played title was Shaboozey ’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” which ruled the TouchTunes Catalog Chart.
In all, Langley appears on Frontline four times this quarter, thanks to a feature on BigXthaPlug ’s “Hell at Night” (No. 7) and with her own songs “Weren’t for the Wind” (No. 15) and “Be Her” (No. 23). “Be Her” is one of the quarter’s debuts, occurring despite the song being released on Feb. 13, halfway through the tracking period.
Langley also bounds in at No. 2 on the TouchTunes Artists Chart. She’s the first solo woman to appear on the ranking since its inception in the first quarter of 2025. The only other women to reach the list were the ladies of Fleetwood Mac , which appeared at No. 9 on the tally in 2025’s fourth quarter.
According to TouchTunes, 59% of Langley’s all-time plays on the service have occurred during the past five months, following the release of “Choosin’ Texas.”
It’s another notch in the belt for Langley, whose “Choosin’ Texas” has led the Billboard Hot 100 for eight nonconsecutive weeks since the Feb. 14 survey and whose album Dandelion debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 dated April 25.
“Choosin’ Texas” takes over the No. 1 spot on Frontline from Morgan Wallen ’s “I’m the Problem,” which reigned for one quarter and falls to No. 2. Olivia Dean ’s “Man I Need” follows at No. 3, a nine-position jump, while Bad Bunny ’s “DtMF” becomes the first non-English language song in the chart’s top 10 since its 2024 inception, leaping to No. 4, up 13 spots.
Bad Bunny boasts four songs on Frontline in all for the first quarter, with “NUEVAYoL” (No. 16), “BAILE INoLVIDABLE” (No. 24) and “EoO” (No. 25) debuting. He also reaches the Artists tally for the first time at No. 8, the ranking’s first act who records predominantly in a language other than English. His big quarter coincides with his performance at the Super Bowl halftime show; according to TouchTunes, his catalog jumped 114% during the week, with an additional 22% gain in the week after the performance.
Frontline’s top debut of the quarter comes courtesy of Bruno Mars , whose “I Just Might” bows at No. 12. Released Jan. 9, the tune has spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 this year.
The Catalog chart also sees a shake-up at No. 1: after “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” graduated to the ranking in the fourth quarter of 2026 and took the top spot, Chris Stapleton ’s “Tennessee Whiskey,” which had ruled every previous iteration, returns to No. 1, with Shaboozey falling to No. 2.
Catalog sees a pair of debuts this quarter: 3 Doors Down ’s “Kryptonite” and The Killers ’ “Mr. Brightside” at Nos. 22 and 24, respectively. “Kryptonite” reaches the list following the death of frontman Brad Arnold on Feb. 7.
Forty-one percent is the magic number for the most-streamed genres on Catalog and Frontline; for the former, it’s rock, while country takes up that percentage of the latter. While that’s the same percentage for rock as in the fourth quarter of 2025, country’s Frontline share is up 3% from that quarter.
