Following a multi-year development process, Burn Phase Productions will present a private, invitation-only 29-hour industry presentation of the new original, folk-rock fantasy musical TERESTEA on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at Studio 9 in Midtown Manhattan.

TERESTEA features a book by John Cavaseno and music and lyrics by Mikey Marmann . The presentation will be directed by Cavaseno, with music direction by Matt DeMaria.

When the ancient Phoenix Crystal is stolen and misused by the royal family, two brothers embark on a perilous quest to restore balance to the collapsing kingdom of TERESTEA. Meanwhile, as revolution rises across the land, a young future queen must confront her family's legacy and decide what kind of leader she is willing to become.

Blending contemporary folk-rock and singer-songwriter influences with epic fantasy storytelling and intimate character drama, the musical explores power, sacrifice, identity, and the cost of creating change.

The cast will include: KC Dela Cruz (Hadestown), Terence Archie (Company, Rocky), Gisela Adisa (1776, Beautiful), Mariah Lyttle (The Wiz, Bad Cinderella), PJ Griffith (American Idiot), Jimmy Schumacher (Between Gods and Kings), Alyssa Cassese (Girlfriend), Maggie Bera (Powerline Road), Maddie Eaton (The Sound of Music), Paul Tuaty (Local Singles), David T. Walker (LES MISERABLES), and Mikey Marmann (Pretty Woman).
