Fuming Mouth Frontman Mark Whelan Cheats Death, Returns to Stage

Fuming Mouth frontman Mark Whelan really did cheat death. In 2021, Whelan was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia . He went through chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant, and he made it out the other side. Fuming Mouth returned to the stage in 2022, and the Massachusetts hardcore/death metal band released their album Last Day Of Sun in 2023. Next month, they'll release another LP, and it opens with a song called "Cheat Death."
