Governors Ball 2026: Discover the Festival's Best Undercard Acts

Now entering its 16th year, Governors Ball Music Festival — known endearingly as Gov Ball — has grown exponentially. From a quaint, one-day affair on Governors Island to three full days of non-stop action at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, Gov Ball has made New York City a festival destination, on top of its status as a worldwide tourist attraction. This year’s edition will feature headliners that exemplify the event’s global reach: Lorde, Stray Kids, A$AP Rocky, Baby Keem, Kali Uchis, and Jennie.

Beyond the top lines, however, Gov Ball maintains a deep lineup well worthy of attracting audiences. The festival boasts a substantial hip-hop showcasing, with Clipse, Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist, and 2hollis all set to perform. R&B is also represented here, with scheduled appearances by Mariah the Scientist, Ravyn Lenae, Thee Sacred Souls, and Blood Orange. Rock of all varieties is well represented, with Pierce the Veil, Wet Leg, Amyl and the Sniffers, and Spacey Jane each contributing a vastly different sound. Indie (Japanese Breakfast, Del Water Gap) and dance lovers (The Dare, Fcukers, Slayyyter) all have plenty to enjoy, as well — but the bill provides a lot worth exploring in the lower billings.
