A Halifax venue has canceled a Sun Kil Moon performance. This comes after sexual misconduct allegations against Mark Kozelek, Sun Kil Moon's frontman, were published by Pitchfork in 2020 and 2021.
Mark Kozelek, who performs as Sun Kil Moon and previously led the Red House Painters, faced sexual misconduct allegations from at least 10 women in investigative reports published at Pitchfork in 2020 and 2021 . Kozelek has consistently denied the allegations against him, and he has continued to tour and record. This September, he's scheduled to play shows across Canada. The promoter, Modo Live, turned off comments on the April 14 Instagram post announcing the tour . But people in Halifax had some feedback on the decision to bring Kozelek to town.
