The season features two Philadelphia premieres and one world premiere, including the final installment of The Philly Cycle.

“We're excited to bring three new plays to Philly for our 39th season, continuing our commitment to engage local audiences in conversation about timely and important stories and ideas,” says Artistic Director Seth Rozin. “Through the lenses of three living playwrights, we'll grapple with the distinctly human acts of having faith, making decisions, taking responsibility and caring for our fellow man.”

The season opens with the Philadelphia premiere of This Much I Know by Jonathan Spector , award-winning author of Eureka Day, running October 30–November 22, 2026. The play follows a psychology professor searching for his missing wife through a theatrical, time-shifting exploration of ideology, extremism, and accountability.

Next is The Contract by James Webb, making its Philadelphia premiere February 5–28, 2027. Set within a Black megachurch community, the play examines internalized homophobia, secrecy, faith, and desire through the unraveling of a carefully negotiated arrangement between a married couple and a graduate student.

The season concludes with the world premiere of [UNTITLED] by L M Feldman, running April 16–May 9, 2027. The third and final play in “The Philly Cycle” shines a light on Philadelphia nurses working in reproductive health and gender-affirming care, exploring the emotional realities of caregiving within an unforgiving healthcare system and turbulent political climate.

By Jonathan Spector October 30–November 22, 2026 Philadelphia Premiere

A psychology professor's search for his missing wife launches a time-hopping exploration of extremism, ideology, and personal responsibility, weaving together stories connected to Stalin's daughter defecting to America and the son of a white supremacist questioning his beliefs.

2025 Award Winning Author, Best Revival of a Play at the 78th Annual Tony Awards for EUREKA DAY.

By James Webb February 5–28, 2027 Philadelphia Premiere

A married couple and co-pastors of a Black megachurch attempt to maintain a carefully negotiated arrangement surrounding the husband's sexuality, until emotional complications threaten to dismantle the fragile structure they have built.

By L M Feldman April 16–May 9, 2027 World Premiere
