Jack White Announces New Album ‘Frozen Charlotte’ & Releases Blues Single ‘Dollar Bill’

Jack White has announced plans to release a new album and has shared the first taster from it, ‘Dollar Bill’ – check out full details below.

The LP, which is his seventh solo effort and the follow-up to 2024’s ‘No Name’ , is set for release on July 10 and available for pre-order here .

The record features 13 tracks including recent singles ‘G.O.D. And The Broken Ribs’ and ’Derecho Demonico’ . The White Stripes man has also shared new blues infused single ‘Dollar Bill’, which you can listen to below.

The album was teased earlier this week, through the Third Man Release Lab, a free, two-part , behind-the-scenes online series that explores Third Man Records’ creative approach to record releases and demystifies the album release process.

Eagle eyed viewers who watched to the end will have seen a glitched-out portion of the video that “leaked’ news of the new album. You can view it here .

White also teased the record through an Instagram post on his own page, where he poured artwork over a sculpture of the artwork for the record, which also features in the video for ‘Dollar Bill’.

The follow-up to ‘No Name’ will be available in black vinyl, a limited edition ‘Zug And Blue’, a ‘Chrome’ and ‘Ice Blue’ vinyl formats, along with CD and cassette versions.

White is set to take the record on the road for a series of  tour dates in the UK, Ireland and North America for later this year , including a double header at London’s Eventim Apollo, as well as some shows in Europe . Find any remaining tickets here .

He performed his recent singles on Saturday Night Live . He also teamed up with SNL host Jack Black for a version of The White Stripes’ ‘Seven Nation Army’ .

White’s previous album was awarded four stars by NME, and it was described as “the maestro’s punkiest outing since White Stripes”.

It added: “Taking a typically old-school approach, the indie icon tips his cap to the past while still sounding like he’s itching to get out of his skin.”

Last month, he opened his first public art exhibition in London , and said that it showcases a side to him that most “people don’t know”.
