Japanese Superstar Ado Partners with WME for Global Representation

On the heels of headlining Zipangu in Los Angeles, the largest J-pop festival ever held in North America, Japanese star Ado signed with WME for worldwide representation in all areas excluding Japan, the agency announced.

Ado has a busy 2026, headlining the Grove Stage at Lollapalooza this summer as well as SUMMER SONIC in Japan, marking the first time a Japanese female solo act has been on the bill. The singer also has a historic solo stadium run at Japan’s Nissan Stadium in July, establishing Ado as one of the definitive voices of the modern J-pop movement.

Her “Hibana” tour in 2025 drew more than 500,000 fans across the globe across 34 dates. She was the first Japanese artist to sell out Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and Newark’s Prudential Center, where she grossed $1,384,299 off 11,256 tickets sold, according to Pollstar Boxoffice.

The 23-year-old singer, who performs in anonymity on stage, with fans seeing her silhouette while she sings, rose to prominence with her major label debut, “Usseewa,” which has more than 317 million streams on Spotify.
