With just over a month to go until the opening whistle for the FIFA World Cup, the trio of North American host nations has unveiled its list of entertainers, including Katy Perry, BLACKPINK’s Lisa, Maná, and Alanis Morissette.

The U.S. opens the world’s biggest sports tournament on June 12 against Paraguay at Inglewood, California’s SoFi Stadium, and pop superstar Katy Perry tops a bill that includes Lisa, who will make history as the first K-pop female solo artist to perform at the World Cup.

Renowned rapper Future, South African star Tyla, Brazilian singer Anitta, young Nigerian singer Rema and DJ Sanjoy will be part of the U.S. opening ceremony in the Greater Los Angeles area.

“This opening ceremony in Los Angeles represents the extraordinary scale of what the FIFA World Cup 2026 will become,” FIFA President Gianni Infantino said in a statement. “The lineup of artists reflects the cultural diversity of the United States and the vibrancy of its many diasporas, highlighting the nation’s rich influence on music, entertainment and pop culture, while showcasing the power of music to bring people together across the country.”

The first official match of the tournament will be between Mexico and South Africa on June 11 at Mexico City’s iconic Azteca Stadium, and performers on the bill for that ceremony include Alejandro Fernández, legendary Latin pop rock band Maná, Lila Downs, Danny Ocean, Belinda, Colombian star J Balvin and Los Ángeles Azules.

“The FIFA World Cup is a moment the world shares, and that begins with how we open it,” Infantino said. “Starting with Mexico City and continuing the next days with Toronto and Los Angeles, these ceremonies will bring together music, culture and football in a way that reflects both the individuality of each nation and the unity that defines this tournament. It is a powerful way to begin a truly global celebration.”

Canada opens the World Cup on June 12 against Bosnia and Herzegovina at BMO Field in Toronto, and Alanis Morissette headlines the show before the match. Other artists on the bill include Michael Bublé, Elyanna, Jessie Reyez, William Prince, Nora Fatehi, French singer Vegedream and DJ Sanjoy.

“The opening ceremony in Toronto will be a powerful reflection of Canada’s identity and the energy surrounding the FIFA World Cup 2026™,” Infantino said. “Through music, culture and unforgettable performances, we will welcome the world with a celebration that is uniquely Canadian while also connected to a larger story unfolding across Mexico and the United States. It will be a moment of pride, unity and anticipation as Canada takes its place on football’s biggest stage.”

Some of the artists performing are also featured on the FIFA World Cup 2026 Official Album , which includes “Lighter” by Jelly Roll and Carín León, “Por Ella” by Los Ángeles Azules and Belinda, “Echo” by reggaeton legend Daddy Yankee and Jamaican star Shenseea, and “Illuminate” by Canadian songwriter Jessie Reyez and Palestinian singer Elyanna.
