Key Dates for the 2027 Golden Globes Announced

The Golden Globes released its full awards timetable, eligibility rules and campaign guidelines for the 84th Annual Golden Globes on Thursday (May 7). The ceremony will broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2027, on CBS and stream on Paramount+ in the U.S. Comedian Nikki Glaser is set to host the show for the third year in a row.

One Battle After Another won four awards, more than any other film, at the 2026 Golden Globes on Jan. 11. It went on to win the Oscar for best picture. Adolescence was the top winner on the TV side, also with four awards.

The Golden Globes, which likes to call itself “Hollywood’s Party of the Year,” is the world’s largest awards show to celebrate the best of film, television and podcasting.

Nominations will be announced on Monday, Dec. 7. The full awards timetable is outlined below. All dates are 2026 unless otherwise noted.

- Monday, June 1: Submission website opens. Submissions must be completed online via the Globes’ website .

- Friday, Oct. 30: Deadline for motion picture, television, and podcast submissions.

- Monday, Nov. 16: Television and podcast nomination ballots to be sent to all voters.

- Sunday, Nov. 22: Final date for television and podcast press conferences. Also, final date for television and podcast programs to be uploaded to the Golden Globes indee viewing platform .

- Monday, Nov. 23, by 5 p.m. PT: Deadline for receipt of television and podcast nomination ballots to KMPG.

- Tuesday, Nov. 24: Motion picture and cinematic and box office achievement nomination ballots to be sent to all voters.

- Wednesday, Dec. 2: Final date for motion picture and cinematic and box office achievement press conferences. Also: Final date for motion picture and cinematic and box office achievement titles to be uploaded to the Golden Globes indee viewing platform .

- Friday, Dec. 4, by 5 p.m. PT: Deadline for receipt of motion picture and cinematic and box office achievement nomination ballots to KPMG.

- Monday, Dec. 7, at 5 a.m. PT: Announcement of nominations for the 84th annual Golden Globes.

- Friday, Dec. 18: Final ballots sent to all voters by KPMG.

- Saturday, Jan. 2, 2027, by 5 p.m. PT: Deadline for receipt of final ballots to KPMG.

- Sunday, Jan. 10, 2027, at 5 p.m. PT: Presentation of the 84th annual Golden Globes.

The Golden Globes are produced by Dick Clark Productions, which is owned by Penske Media Eldridge, a joint venture between Eldridge Industries and Billboard parent company Penske Media.
