Laurie Metcalf has won the 2026 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play for her acclaimed performance as Linda Loman in the new Broadway revial of Arthur Miller 's DEATH OF A SALESMAN.
Laurie Metcalf recently starred in another of this year's nominated productions, Samuel D. Hunter ’s LITTLE BEAR RIDGE ROAD.
Metcalf is already a two-time Tony Award winner, having earned honors for for her performances in THREE TALL WOMEN and A DOLL'S HOUSE, PART 2.
Metcalf has received additional Tony nominations for her performances in the Broadway productions of NOVEMBER, THE OTHER PLACE, MISERY, and HILLARY AND CLINTON.
Metcalf received three Emmy Awards for her work on the television series “Roseanne,” and an Emmy Award for her role on “Hacks.” Other Emmy nominations were for “Third Rock from the Sun,” “Monk,” “Desperate Housewives,” “The Big Bang Theory,” “Horace and Pete,” and “Getting On.” Films include Lady Bird (National Board of Review Award for Best Supporting Actress, Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations for Best Supporting Actress), Somewhere in Queens, Desperately Seeking Susan, Leaving Las Vegas, Uncle Buck, JFK, Internal Affairs, and the Toy Story series.
Arthur Miller 's DEATH OF A SALESMAN is the most nominated play of the year with 9 Tony Award nominations including Best Revival of a Play, Best Leading Actor in a Play ( Nathan Lane ), Best Featured Actress in a Play ( Laurie Metcalf ), Best Featured Actor in a Play ( Christopher Abbott ), Best Direction of a Play ( Joe Mantello ), Best Original Score ( Caroline Shaw ), Best Scenic Design of a Play ( Chloe Lamford ), Best Lighting Design of a Play ( Jack Knowles ), and Best Sound Design of a Play ( Mikaal Sulaiman ).
