The hit production, which runs from May 29, 2026, to June 14, 2026, at the Schoolhouse Theatre at LTM, has reached full capacity across every scheduled performance.

The overwhelming response from the community reflects a deep appreciation for the performing arts and the exceptional, localized talent that Little Theatre of Mechanicsburg brings to the stage.

"Sweeney Todd is the pinnacle and final production of our 75th season, and we couldn't be prouder." said James Casey, President of LTM.

Director Tom Blaisse added, "Special thanks to the LTM board for its unwavering support, especially John Kubasko and Steven Filer Munley; Brian Silva, my Assistant Director, who has fulfilled his role with exquisite accuracy and organization; Marley Warren, our senior Producer, who has been on site, and on target - meeting all of our needs even before we knew what they were; Bethany Malykh, our talented Vocal Director who, with the help of Ryan, our rehearsal Pianist, planned, organized, and delivered on the Herculean task of teaching all of the music; Mandi and Kevin for creative set construction; Bethany Butler - Costume Coordinator; Dave - Light Design; Heather- Light Execution; Sue Reutter - Props, and Lori - Music tracks and sound; our sponsors, who have placed ads in our program to help offset the cost of this production; our marvelous cast, who sing, act, and laugh with grace, camaraderie, and passion."

"Seventy-five years is quite an achievement for anything, so for the theater's 75th anniversary we wanted a very special season. I often wonder if the men and women who started this small theater company of dedicated volunteers and lovers of theater ever thought Little Theater of Mechanicsburg would become what it is today." President Casey continued.

"Like every theater, LTM has had its ups and downs. There have been times when the theater's continued existence was in question, most recently during the COVID-19 pandemic. Yet, thanks to the effort, hard-work, and most importantly, the love of our members, volunteers, and other supporters, LTM not only continues to exist, it thrives."

This landmark production features a dedicated local cast of fifteen actors, supported by a tireless backstage crew of volunteers. The production team includes Tom Blaisse as Director, Brian Silva as Assistant Director, Bethany Malykh as Musical Director, and Ryan Snider as Assistant Music Director.

While the public performances are sold out, patrons hoping to catch a glimpse can check the LTM Box Office in the event that returned tickets become available. For ticket information, visit the show's event page on the Our Show website.
