Live Nation is set to acquire a majority stake in Dale Play Live , the concert promotion arm of Argentine entertainment company Dale Play .
Live Nation said the partnership will support the development of Latin and regional artists and expand Spanish-language music in Argentina .
Dale Play Founder and CEO Federico Lauria will continue leading the company’s creative and strategic direction, Live Nation said in a statement on Monday (June 1).
The acquisition deepens a relationship Live Nation and Dale Play established earlier this year.
Live Nation in January agreed a 10-year deal for exclusive concert access and naming rights at Buenos Aires’ Mâs Monumental Stadium .
That agreement, reportedly worth $110 million , brought the company together with Dale Play Live and fellow Argentine promoter DF Entertainment .
The stadium is the home ground of Argentine football club River Plate , which struck the rights agreement with Live Nation .
The 10-year deal takes effect on January 1, 2027 , and grants Live Nation presentation rights for all live shows at the 85,000 -capacity venue.
Dale Play was founded in 2018 by Lauria .
The company began as a concert promoter in Argentina , where it sells more than one million tickets a year, according to Billboard .
Dale Play ‘s holdings also include artist management division Dale Play Management and the Dale Play Records label.
The label is home to Argentine artists including Duki and Nicki Nicole , as well as producer Bizarrap , whose Bzrp Music Sessions have become streaming hits.
Last year, Rimas Entertainment , the label home of Bad Bunny , acquired a “significant” stake in Dale Play Records .

Under the new partnership, DF Entertainment will continue to lead the growth of international live music events in Argentina , while Dale Play focuses on developing Spanish-language artists and local content, the companies said.
Live Nation acquired a majority stake in DF Entertainment in 2018 .
DF Entertainment was founded by Diego Finkelstein .
It has co-promoted shows in Argentina for acts including Coldplay , Foo Fighters and Ariana Grande .
It also serves as the local partner for Lollapalooza Argentina .
Live Nation said the addition of Dale Play combines international expertise with local artist development in the country.
“Buenos Aires is the second largest music market in South America and a priority for Live Nation ,” said Michael Rapino , President and CEO of Live Nation Entertainment.
“The addition of Dale Play complements our existing partnership with DF Entertainment and strengthens our commitment to Argentina and the growth of Spanish-language music in the region and throughout the world.”
“ Dale Play was founded with the vision of supporting artists and building a platform that empowers them to grow locally and globally,” said Lauria .
“Being partners with Live Nation represents a tremendous opportunity to continue expanding artists from Argentina and Latin America to the world.”
