Bradley, who taught legendary performers such as Eleanor Powell and Adele Astaire, also influenced many foundational figures in the industry. "He was revolutionizing theatrical dance," says Footer. "He was the trailblazer for bringing jazz to major choreographers such as Frederick Ashton and George Balanchine , so we see the results of his work, but we didn’t know who he was."

While his influence continues to shape the dance industry today, Bradley’s name and contributions have largely faded from public recognition. Through Feel the Floor, Footer not only restores Bradley's name to public conciousness; she brings his livelihood and artistry to life.
