After a successful run at the children's festival Perform in the Park in 2023, Mermaids & Pirates is finally landing in the West End this July for a sun-soaked Caribbean adventure!

Following sold-out shows of the family musicals Midnight in the Toyshop (April 2026) and Magical Merlin (October 2025) at St Martin's Theatre - home of The Mousetrap - Perform Productions is bringing the much loved tale, Mermaids & Pirates, to the same West End stage for a limited run between 21st - 26th July.

This one-hour musical is designed for the whole family, packed full of catchy songs, energetic dancing and larger-than-life characters, suitable for children aged three and above. Performances are at family-friendly times of 11am, 11.30am and 2pm (times vary; check Box Office for dates/times).

Mermaids & Pirates features a shipload of unforgettable characters, including the Seasick Pirate, a crazy castaway and Isla, Queen of the Island. Packed with calypso-infused songs, salsa-styled choreography and plenty of comic surprises, this musical celebrates teamwork, courage and the magic of the Caribbean.

When Long Gone Silver and his bumbling pirates discover Treasure Island, they're not expecting Marina and her super-cool mermaids. Chaos ensues, and when The Sacred Coconut disappears, it's down to singing parrot Rita Conchita and her friends to save the day.

Perform Productions is run by Lucy Quick and Will Barnett . In addition to their success in family theatre, they are the co-founders of Perform, one of the UK's leading drama schools for 4-12-year-olds. Perform in the Park was an initiative of Perform in 2023 to introduce children to the magic of live theatre, and saw four shows, including Mermaids & Pirates, run over six weeks at London's Coram's Fields.
