MGK and Wiz Khalifa Announce ‘Blog Era Boyz’ Mixtape and Release Star-Studded ‘Everything Tatted’ Video

Mgk and Wiz Khalifa reunited for their first track in 13 years last week, and the duo has a full joint project on the way.

Earlier this week, Kels and the Taylor Gang honcho revealed that their Blog Era Boyz mixtape is set to arrive on Friday (May 22). It’s fitting since the pair is trekking across North America together as part of mgk’s Lost Americana Tour, which kicked off on May 15, and will give fans some fresh tunes.

The “Mind of a Stoner” collaborators are slated to make stops in Austin, Dallas, Atlanta, St. Louis, Toronto, Kansas City and Vancouver, B.C., before heading to Ridgefield, Wash., on July 1 for a final show.

After packing on the early 2010s nostalgia with “Girl Next Door,” Kels and Wiz are back with another offering from their joint effort with “Everything Tatted,” which arrived on Wednesday (May 20).

“I tattoo my face/ I tattoo my neck/ I tattoo my hands, legs, back, chest/ Freaks come out at night, 12 a.m. we active,” mgk raps before passing the baton to Wiz.

The track oozes rebellious energy that Kels has ingrained in his DNA, and the title is fitting with both artists covered in ink. One of Wiz’s breakout songs is “Ink My Whole Body” after all, which landed on his 2008 Star Power mixtape.

The punk visual of the new track steals the show, and it’s a star-studded affair, with everyone showing off their body as a canvas. Wiz and Kels recruited Bam Margera, Ty Dolla $ign and skater Boo Johnson for appearances. In addition to Mod Sun and EST members such as Slim and Rook, there are plenty of inked women surrounding the crew as well.

Before joining up with Wiz, mgk recruited Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst for “Fix Ur Face” in April, which reached No. 1 on Billboard ‘s  Hot Hard Rock Songs  chart.
