Morrissey Confirms Five-Date UK Tour for December 2026

Morrissey  has announced a UK tour to take place in December – see all of the details below.

The former  Smiths  frontman released his 14th solo album ‘ Make-Up Is A Lie ’ in March via Sire Records, and has already  announced a European headline tour to take place over the summer .

Now, he has confirmed details of a string of UK dates to follow in December, kicking off in the Brighton Centre on December 6. He will then head to Cardiff’s Utilita Arena on December 10 and Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena two nights later.

From there, he travels up to Glasgow for a show at the OVO Hydro on December 16 before rounding off the run with a date at Leeds’ First Direct Bank Arena on December 19.

Morrissey’s 2026 UK tour dates are:

DECEMBER

6 – Brighton, Brighton Centre

10 – Cardiff, Utilita Arena

12 – Liverpool, M&S Bank Arena

16 – Glasgow, OVO Hydro

19 – Leeds, First Direct Bank Arena

Morrissey played  what had been billed as his only UK concert of the year at The O2 in London in February .

He also cancelled multiple shows in the US  earlier this year, citing “artist illness” and an  “adverse reaction to a prescription medication” . He then  axed a live date in Valencia last month “due to sleep deprivation” .

“Any form of sleep or rest throughout the night was impossible due to festival noise / loud techno singing / megaphone announcements,” the statement read. “Morrissey drove from Milan to Valencia but has been unable to rest in Valencia due to noise […] Circumstances render the show impossible.”

In other news,  Morrissey has claimed responsibility for the initial idea for the iconic photograph of The Smiths taken outside Salford Lads Club , and corrected  Johnny Marr about the history of the band signing with Rough Trade.

He has also been announced as  one of the headline acts for this year’s CBGB Festival in New York in September , alongside the likes of  Patti Smith ,  Interpol  and  Sex Pistols  featuring  Frank Carter .
