Bristol's MOULD — a trio maintained by Joe Sherrin, Kane Eagle, and James Luxton — are plotting to drop their debut Hoping As A Coping Mechanism this summer. They've already released a killer lead single " Falling Posture ," which showcases guitar scribbles, lots of shouting, and a refreshing jazzy breakdown towards the song's end. This week, they released another rowdy single "Lucid" that features some tinkering percussion twists, stocky guitar chords, and, as always, lots of melodic shouting.
The band's vocalist-guitarist Joe Sherrin shared some lyrical insight. That it's about “suppressing what we want to do or say, the last line is 'there's more to life than stability' which is telling the voice of the rest of the song 'life's too short for worrying, worryhead!'"
