Last night Noah Kahan returned to SNL for the second time. Kahan first performed on the show in 2023 with his breakout hits " Stick Season " and " Dial Drunk ." Last night, with Matt Damon as the host, Kahan performed the title track from his recent #1 album The Great Divide and the song "Doors."
This was Damon's third time hosting SNL . Damon played Brett Kavanaugh in the cold opening with Aziz Ansari returning as FBI Director Kash Patel and Colin Jost as Pete Hegseth. The three hung out in a bar and Ansari made fun of Patel's very real and very ridiculous personalized bourbon stash. The scene ends with the three of them quoting Chumbawamba's " Tubthumping ," and then breaking out in song.
That wasn't the only singing that happened during the episode: Jane Wickline appeared on Weekend Update to perform a song about "being chronically late." It's funny, and frustratingly relatable. "You wanna know if I'm on my way," she sings. "Guess what bitch I'm gonna show up forty minutes late with an ice cream cone, forty minutes late with an ice cream cone, forty minutes late with an ice cream cone/ I'll look you straight in the eyes, say the trains were slow." Check these moments out below.
Thank you, Matt Damon, Noah Kahan and Aziz Ansari! Goodnight! pic.twitter.com/UKBOweCfyp
