This year sees one-liner legend Olaf Falafel bring up his 15th and 16th shows to the Edinburgh Fringe! A festival stalwart, the author, illustrator and stand-up comedian is again serving up two shows: Olaf Falafel's Stupidest Super Stupid Show - This Time It's Stupider for kids, and one for grown-ups, Olaf Falafel Presents: I Used to Work in a Helium Balloon Factory Until They Let Me Go.

Olaf Falafel's Stupidest Super Stupid Show - This Time It's Stupider, runs at Laughing Horse @ The Counting House (The Ballroom) between 6-30 August (Not 19, 25 or 26 August) @ 11:30 AM - details here: https://www.edfringe.com/tickets/whats-on/olaf-falafel-s-stupidest-super-stupid-show-this-time-it-s-stupider

The comedy show that comedians take their kids to is back and even funnier! Join Olaf Falafel (if that is his real name) for an hour of kids' comedy, which will be the stupidest show he has ever let ooze out of his brain. Expect jokes, futuristic dung beetles and truth-telling cheese - and we might also all draw a Spewnicorn! And, after selling out completely for the last two years, the genuinely stupid people will be the ones who don't get tickets straight away!

Olaf Falafel Presents: I Used to Work in a Helium Balloon Factory Until they Let Me Go runs at Laughing Horse @ The Pear Tree (Main Room 6-30 August (Not 19 August) @ 2:30 PM - details here: https://www.edfringe.com/tickets/whats-on/olaf-falafel-presents-i-used-to-work-in-a-helium-balloon-factory-until-they-let-me-go

Shortlisted for the ISH Edinburgh Comedy Best Show Award in 2025. The best-joke-list-bothering, holey-cheese-flinging Falafel is back with another thickly-sliced slab of stupid. Including but not limited to: mind-reading mic stands, sausage-based nonsense and art-related buffoonery. It won't be sensible.

Olaf Falafel is an author, illustrator and stand-up comedian. His stupidly named comedy shows, including Olaf Falafel and the Cheese Of Truth, have been packed with sublime gags, including the ones that won him Dave's Joke of the Fringe and that have repeatedly been featured in best joke selections in broadsheet newspapers.

As well as trying to make people laugh on stage, Olaf writes and illustrates children's books, including his latest graphic novel series, The Far-Out Five Trixie Pickle Art Avenger and his most recent picture book Dave, Don't Give Up!

Olaf also has an Art Club on YouTube full of drawing tips and facts about famous artists. His school author events are, to quote some actual teachers, "by far the best we've ever had" and "packed full of fun."
