The new musical by Tiffany Schirz and Romy Fay will be presented in partnership with Breaking Borders IPA.

A 29-hour equity reading of PRINCESS AND PAWS, a new musical written and composed by Tiffany Schirz and Romy Fay , will be held at Open Jar Studios on May 21, 2026. The reading is being produced in partnership with Breaking Borders IPA.

Described as a modern fairy tale, PRINCESS AND PAWS explores themes of class divisions, tradition, loyalty, climate change, friendship, survival, and freedom through a score inspired by Disney-pop and classic Broadway musicals.

The reading will be directed by Janine Molinari , with assistant direction by Romy Fay and music direction by Tiffany Schirz. Alivia Salls will serve as stage manager.

The cast will feature Lucy Grunden, Jacob Morrell , Lena Marano, Sarah Castiel, Ethan Mathias , Mika Wurf, Joshua Screen , and Romy Fay .
