Quintet of the Americas, Queens' renowned woodwind quintet, will present a concert on Sunday, June 28 @ 11:00 AM at Queens Botanical Garden, 43-50 Main Street in Flushing, Queens, NY, as part of their residency at the garden. The program will be a celebration of new music by emerging Latino composers including Colombian composers Natalia Camargo Duarte and César Corredor Camacho, Costa Rican composer Sergio Delgado, and Cuban composer Jorge Amado .
Quintet of the Americas is set to perform a free concert on Sunday, June 28 at 11:00 AM at Queens Botanical Garden, located at 43-50 Main Street in Flushing, Queens. The program will feature new works by emerging Latino composers, including Colombian composers Natalia Camargo Duarte and César Corredor Camacho, Costa Rican composer Sergio Delgado, and Cuban composer Jorge Amado . Performers include Kim Bonacorsa on flute, Andres Ayola on oboe, David Valbuena on clarinet, Barbara Oldham on horn, and Alexander Davis on bassoon. Admission to both the concert and the botanical garden is free during the event.
