Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ghost, BABYMETAL Featured on New Video Game Stage Tour

Stage Tour , an upcoming video game that is somewhat of a successor to Guitar Hero , has unveiled the first batch of songs to be featured on its playlist.

The list so far includes songs by Red Hot Chili Peppers , Ghost , BABYMETAL with Electric Callboy, Weezer, Extreme, Static-X, and Good Kid.

Stage Tour developer RedOctane was one of the original developers behind the Guitar Hero franchise. The announcement via trailer also includes news of a number of peripherals coming for the game, including guitars modeled after Kramer, Gibson, and Epiphone designs, an expandable drumkit, and both wired and wireless microphones.

The game will also sport a campaign mode featuring rogue-like elements and the intriguingly titled “Judgements Mode.” Alongside RedOctane are members of the Guitar Hero community such as figures behind Clone Hero and YARG , two projects that kept the rhythm game series active into the Twitch streaming era.
