For almost two years the Vagabond roamed the lands following his exile from the North. Rare sightings by the devotedly keen and the keenly devoted share tales of the Vagabond's legendary wit.

Observing from a solitary distance, his humour honed by ironic and tragic circumstance, the Vagabond readies himself with his arsenal of katana sharp jokes, fated to return to the place that once shunned him for Something Wicked That Other Way Comes.

Reginald D Hunter: Something Wicked That Other Way Comes will be at the Assembly Ballroom at 8.15pm from Thursday 6th – Sunday 30th August 2026 (preview 6th August, no performances Mon 10th, Mon 17th, Mon 24th Aug).

Nearly 25 years since moving to the UK from the US, three-time Perrier Award nominated Reginald D Hunter has forged a reputation for delivering unadulterated comedy of the highest order.

His numerous TV appearances include ‘Live at The Apollo ' (BBC Two), ‘Have I Got News for You' (BBC One) and ‘8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown' (C4), whilst he drew widespread acclaim for his two series for the BBC, ‘Reginald D Hunter's Songs of the South' and ‘Reginald D Hunter's Songs of the Border'.
