Set on a South Pacific island during World War II, South Pacific weaves together two stirring love stories - each challenged by the prejudices of its time. Ensign Nellie Forbush, an idealistic Navy nurse from Arkansas, falls for the charming French plantation owner Emile de Becque, while Lt. Joe Cable grapples with his feelings for the young Island woman Liat. The musical features timeless songs including "Some Enchanted Evening," "Younger Than Springtime," "Bali Ha'i," and "There Is Nothin' Like a Dame."

"We are incredibly proud to bring this iconic work to life with such a talented and dedicated company of performers," said Tony Chiofalo , the artistic director of Lighthouse Repertory Theatre. "South Pacific is not just a love story - it is a profound examination of courage, compassion, and the human capacity to change. We believe this production will move and inspire audiences of all ages."
