Romeo Beckham to Star in New Tennis Film ‘Forty Love’
Romeo Beckham will make his acting debut in "Forty Love," a romantic tennis film premiering in France this November.

Romeo Beckham is to make his acting debut in tennis themed romantic drama Forty Love .
Scheduled for release in France on November 25, the movie is directed by fashion photographer Pierre-Ange Carlotti in his debut feature, Paul Kircher ( The Animal Kingdom ), Guillaume Canet ( The Beach ), and French acting legend Catherine Deneuve.
As reported by Variety , the film is said to following a tennis star on the cusp of winning a major trophy in Paris, whose charismatic new arrival (played by Beckham) complicates his feelings around competition.
“For the first time, he faces an opponent of an entirely different nature — love,” explains the official synopsis. “A force as exhilarating as it is destabilising — and far more dangerous than anything he has encountered on the court.”

Romeo Beckham is son of retired England captain David Beckham and former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham . He followed his father into the world of football, playing for various development teams in the UK and US, before achieving success as a model for brands such as Yves Saint Laurent and Balenciaga.
Romeo was part of 2024’s Beckham Netflix documentary, famous for David teasing his wife Victoria for claiming to be working class. The moment went viral, with David later admitting the appearance irritated the show’s director, Fisher Stevens.
Earlier this year, Romeo’s older brother Brooklyn Beckham made headlines by publicly criticising his parents, accusing them of “controlling” him and “constantly disrespecting” his wife. “I do not want to reconcile with my family,” he said via Instagram .
“I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.”
He added: “Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out.”
The explosive, confessional nature of the post prompted Lily Allen to share an edited version of her ‘West End Girl’ cover art, with Brooklyn’s face replacing her own.
