Rosamund Pike recently called out an audience member on stage for texting during a performance of Inter Alia. During the Saturday, May 30 performance in London's West End, Pike returned to the stage after the play ended and spoke about what happened, The Stage reports.
“I just wanted to say for anyone going to the theatre, it’s a huge thing that we’re trying to give you. I am trying to tell you a story, and I’m feeling you, and I hope you’re feeling me too,” she said.
“Somebody was texting in this part," she continued. "You know who you are and I’m not going to single you out. Maybe it was very important, and maybe you’re a doctor, and you’re saving someone’s life, and I hope you are, but we do see these, we do feel them. I’ve got you, I feel like I’ve got to hold you all, so when I feel that and see it, it’s hard.”

As BroadwayWorld previously reported , Suzie Miller ’s new play, Inter Alia, will be coming to Broadway this Fall for a strictly limited engagement. The production, which had a sold-out run at The National Theatre in 2025 and is currently enjoying a sold-out run in the West End, will star Golden Globe, Emmy Award-Winning, and BAFTA, Academy Award-nominee Rosamund Pike , who will reprise her performance as Jessica Parks , as she makes her Broadway debut. Directed by Justin Martin , Inter Alia will begin preview performances on November 10, before an opening on December 1, 2026, at The Music Box Theatre.
Inter Alia , meaning “among other things”, is the story of Jessica Parks (Ms. Pike), a maverick London Crown Court Judge who is determined to change a system she knows isn’t always just. Inter Alia examines the balance of motherhood and modern masculinity, and of career and family.

Jessica Parks is a maverick London Crown Court Judge; sharp, compassionate, and determined to change a system she knows isn’t always just. But her career exists inter alia (‘among other things’) as she balances motherhood, friendship and the elusive notion of ‘having it all’. So, when an unthinkable event rocks her finely tuned life, can she hold her family together – or will everything fall apart? Rosamund Pike returns to Suzie Miller's explosive second play-what did the critics think?
In Prima Facie, former lawyer and playwright Suzie Miller wrote about a lawyer whose faith in her profession is shaken by an experience of sexual assault. Now in Inter Alia, which transfers to the West End after an acclaimed National Theatre run, she exposes the limits of the justice system when it comes to sexual violence through a different lens: that of a mother of a son immersed in the manosphere.
You can now get a first look at production photos of the West End transfer of Inter Alia, featuring Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winner and BAFTA and Academy Award-nominee Rosamund Pike.
