Based on Louisa May Alcott 's beloved 1868 novel, this award-winning musical brings the spirited March sisters to life in a sweeping, emotional, and unforgettable theatrical experience.

Little Women, The Broadway Musical, features a lush, Tony Award nominated score and book that captures the joy, heartbreak, and fierce independence of Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy March as they come of age in Civil War era New England. With soaring songs, rich period detail, and timeless themes of family, ambition, and following one's dreams, this production promises to delight audiences of all ages. Set against the backdrop of the American Civil War, Little Women follows the four March sisters, the spirited and ambitious Jo (Natalie Crespolini), the gentle and romantic Meg (Sarah Kowalcheck), the compassionate and selfless Beth (Kayla Del Valle), and the vivacious and determined Amy (Cailin Brennan) as they navigate the joys and heartaches of growing up. Guided by their loving mother Marmee (Hilary Beirne) and their wealthy, influential Aunt March ( Jennylind Parris ) while their father serves away at war, the girls discover who they are, who they love, and who they want to become.

The supporting cast includes Mr. Lawrence (Scott McKinley), Laurie Lawrence (Matthew North), Mr. Brooke (Hunter Chung), Clarissa (Victoria Romero) and Professor Bhaer (Alex Maron). It is a story about dreams and sacrifices, about the pull between independence and belonging, and about the irreplaceable bonds of sisterhood. The Roxbury Arts Alliance is a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to bringing the arts to the Roxbury community and beyond. By staging this production at their Citizens Bank Theater, they invite local audiences of all ages to share in a story that speaks across generations, one that asks what we owe to ourselves and to each other. Whether you're introducing Alcott's world to a young theatregoer for the first time or returning to a story that shaped your own, this production promises an evening of beauty, heart, and outstanding performance.
