Shakespeare's Globe has announced the cast and creative team of Love's Labour's Lost in The Globe Theatre , running from 17 July – 13 September 2026, directed by Globe Associate Artist Indiana Lown-Collins in her Globe directorial debut.

The cast will comprise Daniel Abbott as Mozo de Espadas, Suzanne Ahmet as Katherine/Nathaniela, Philip Arditti as Berowne, Zannie Benfield as Marcadé, Ned Costello as King of Navarre, Andro Crespo as Don Adriano de Armado, Daniel Crossley as Boyet/Anthony Dull, Jax Guerrero as Dumaine/Moth, Joshua Hill as Costard, Philip Labey as Longaville, Jimena Larraguivel as Jaquenetta, Norah Lopez Holden as Princess, Bea Segura as Rosaline, and Katy Stephens as Maria/Holofernes.
Shakespeare's rarely staged comedy of love, desire and wit is reimagined in a blazing, flamenco-inspired production, and will feature flamenco dancers Pablo Egea and Anita La Maltesa, and flamenco singer Carlos Lobo Cordón in the production alongside the cast.
Director Indiana Lown-Collins says: “I'm thrilled to be collaborating with such an extraordinary cast and creative team to bring this impassioned story to life. This production brings together the rhythm and humanity of both Shakespeare and Flamenco, and to explore where those artistic languages meet within the unique space of the Wooden ‘O', with this beautiful company, feels incredibly special.”
Love's Labour's Lost's Associate Director is Nell Bailey, Michael McMahon and Adrian Sola are the co-Composers, Katie Lias is Designer, Carmen Igarza is Movement Director and Choreographer, with Voice & Text by Adam Wallis.
Love's Labour's Lost was cast by Becky Paris CDG, Head of Casting at Shakespeare's Globe.
Daniel Abbott will play Mozo de Espadas. Daniel trained at LAMDA. Suzanne Ahmet will play Katherine/Nathaniela. Previous work at Shakespeare's Globe includes Read Not Dead and Research in Action. Screen credits include: Pierre Generation Z, Ludwig, After the Flood, Casualty, Switzerland, Inside Man, Adult Material. Other theatre credits include Marvellous (@sohoplace). Suzanne is also a returning actor with The Telling, an Early Music ensemble who tour a repertoire of Concert Plays including Creating Carmen and Into the Melting Pot . She has also worked as a development artist for the RSC (The Boy in The Dress) and The New Vic (Marvellous).
Philip Arditti will play Berowne. Previous work at Shakespeare's Globe includes Henry IV. TV credits include: The Day of the Jackal, Protection, Breathtaking, House of Saddam (HBO/BBC), and No Return (ITV). Film credits include Jay Kelly, Inferno, Red II and The Way of the Wind. Theatre credits include: The Spy That Came in from the Cold (@SohoPlace), English Kings Killing Foreigners (Camden People's Theatre), Oslo and Salome (National Theatre), Baghdaddy ( Royal Court Theatre ).
Zannie Benfield will play Marcadé. Zannie trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Love's Labour's Lost marks their professional stage debut. Stage credits whilst in training include The Wonderful World of Dissocia, Coriolanus, A Very Expensive Poison, [Blank]. Other stage credits include Nook (Riverside Studios); Henry V (On Cue Theatre). Screen credits include Kenneth Branagh 's feature film The Last Disturbance of Madeline Hynde. Radio credits include Silent Tide (BBC Radio 4).
Ned Costello will play King of Navarre. Ned trained at LAMDA. Theatre credits include: The Clothes They Stood Up In ( Nottingham Playhouse ), Leaves of Glass ( Park Theatre ), The History Boys (UK Tour), Titus Andronicus (Royal Shakespeare Company), and The Pitchfork Disney (King's Head Theatre). Television credits include: Wreck (BBC Three), Andor (Disney+), and Grantchester (ITV).
Andro Crespo will play Don Adriano de Armado. Andro trained at Rose Bruford College (BA Acting) and National Youth Theatre. Theatre credits include: A Midsummer Night's Dream (Le Quai CDN Angers); Godspell (Teatro del Soho in Malaga); La Verbena de la Paloma, El Caballero de Olmedo, El Año Pasado por Agua, Yo Te Querré, El Sobre Verde (Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid); Good Boy (Arts Theatre); Incident at Vichy (Finborough Theatre and King's Head); Miracle at Montecristi (Theatre 503); The Merchant of Venice (Rose Theatre).
