Explaining the delay in getting the Mario Kart World soundtrack onto streaming , Nintendo’s Bill Trinen said: “I can’t go into too much detail, but I can say that it does actually take time and work to prepare soundtracks for Nintendo Music. And that soundtrack is particularly robust. It’s a matter of looking at the calendar and saying whether something might fit in or not. We’ve certainly heard that people are eager to see that on Nintendo Music.”
Nintendo Music launched in October 2024 and features more than 130 gaming soundtracks. Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa has said the app is so popular, the company is considering putting on a series of orchestral concert tours .
In other news, the title of the A Minecraft Movie sequel has been revealed alongside a new behind-the-scenes clip that promises the film will go “deeper” into the game’s lore than the original.
