Superfan Unveils “Picture Of Return” Following AD 93 Signing
Brooklyn artist Kali Priya Flanagan, known as Superfan, has signed with AD 93. The indie wunderkind celebrates with the release of her new track, "Picture Of Return."

Last year, Brooklyn's Kali Priya Flanagan shared a couple Superfan songs, including the Nick Drake-esque " Apeiron (Fantasy Football) ." Now, the indie wunderkind has signed to AD 93 and released the new track "Picture Of Return."
"The song is a reflection on emotional manipulation — falling into a trap built by someone else's projections and desires that oppose your own," Flanagan explains. "There's a sadness in knowing that sometimes the only agency you can have is hoping that it'll pass."
"Picture Of Return" is haunted and seething, featuring string arrangements crafted in collaboration with cellist Omeed Almassi that adds elegance to the eerie aura. The release comes with a hazy brainrot visualizer (I believe it's corecore? I am a zoomer but I try not to know these things) as well as a live version filmed inside Agger Fish Building in the Brooklyn Navy Yard by Garrett Winston. Check out both below.
