Syd Unveils "2 Many Days" Ahead of New Album "Beard"

Syd's new album Beard , the follow-up to 2022's Broken Heart's Club , is coming out next month. We've already heard the lead single " Callin " featuring Blu June, and today we get another glimpse of the project via the album closer "2 Many Days."

On "2 Many Days," the LA-based musician is reflecting on how far she's come, how much she's grown, and how much further she has to go. "Never thought I'd make it here, but I did," she sings during the first verse. She's flipping trucks, providing for her mom, and making toasts to the future. Over a smoky synth melody and relaxed snaps, it all sounds great. But by song's end she's thinking about slowing down: "Seems like I've accomplished so much/ But inside, I've been feelin' so rushed, oh/ Tryna make more time for you." She makes flourishing and maturity sound so nice.
